Dick's Picks Volume 8 - Grateful Dead (Grateful Dead GDCD 4028) Released in
June, 1997. A three CD release from the May 2, 1970 show at Harpur College in
Binghamton, New York. The first 1:45 of "St. Stephen" are missing on the
master tapes. "Cold Rain And Snow", which was played after "Good Loving", was
not included. The cover shows a top-hatted skeleton riding the green dancing
bear-ed SYF flying carpet ticket.

Dick's Picks Volume 8 - Grateful Dead (GDPD 4028, Grateful Dead Records, 48-50
Steele Road, London, NW10 7AS) These are the UK and European released CDs.

Fallout From The Phil Zone - Grateful Dead (Grateful Dead/Arista 14052) A two
CD release of personal favorites and historically relevant rare material,
selected by Phil Lesh. Released on June 17, 1997.

A Night In New York - Kingfish (Relix RRCD 2089, September 9, 1997) A live
performance from My Father's Place in Roslyn, New York. The cover of this
album, which includes "Hypnotize", features two crossed guitars against a
night time cityscape.

Relix's Best Of Truck Driving Songs - var. (Relix RRCD 2083,
http://www.relix.com) This includes a version of "The Wheel" (which is also
on "Blue Morning") by Toni Brown.

For The First Time In America - Elvis Costello and Steve Nieve (Rykodisc,
1996) on the second disc of this five CD box set of live performances is
included "Ship Of Fools", which was recorded at the Fillmore in San

Charity Of Night - Bruce Cockburn (Rykodisc 10366) Rob Wasserman and Bob Weir
appear on this February 4, 1997 release.

Terrapin Station Limited Edition - Grateful Dead (Grateful Dead GDCD 4055)
This very special, limited, collector's edition three CD set of the March 15,
1990 show comes packaged in a die-cut and sequentially numbered slip case, and
includes a 9 1/2 inch by 14 inch poster by Mouse and Kelley. Released in
September, 1997.

Fillmore East 2-11-69 - Grateful Dead (Arista 14054) A two CD release of the
February 11, 1969 show at the Fillmore East in New York City. The early
show: "Good Morning, Little School Girl", "Cryptical Envelopment" > "The
Other One" > "Cryptical Envelopment", "Doin' That Rag", "I'm a King Bee",
"Turn On Your Lovelight" > "Hey Jude". The late show: "Dupree's Diamond
Blues" > "Mountains Of The Moon" > "Dark Star" > "St. Stephen" > "The
Eleven" > "Drums" > "Caution (Do Not Stop On Tracks)" > "Feedback" > "We Bid
You Goodnight". Released on October 28, 1997. The cover features a red
riding hood-ed wolf, in front of the Fillmore East, looking up Second Avenue.
Released on October 28, 1997.

Dick's Picks Volume 9 - Grateful Dead (Grateful Dead GDCD 4029) Released on
October 28, 1997. A three CD release from the September 16, 1990 show from
Madison Square Garden. The Dick's Picks Vault Party was held in October, 1997
at the Wonderland Ballroom in Revere, Massachusetts. The cover shows King
Kong wearing a tie-dyed tee shirt on the SYF flying carpet ticket.

Space Debris - Space Debris (Roswell Records, 1997,
http://www.ns.net/~pthfind/) Includes an eleven minute version of "Dark Star".

DeadBeats Acoustic - DeadBeats (DeadBeats, 1996,
http://www.netshel.net/~deadbeat) This CD of cover versions of Grateful Dead
songs was recorded live at The Nevada Theater, Nevada City, CA on October 29,
1996.

The Blues For Allah Project - Joe Gallant and Illuminati (Knitting Factory
Works, 1996, http://www.knittingfactory.com) Recorded live in January, 1996
at the Knitting Factory in New York City, this CD covers much of the "Blues
For Allah" album. The live recordings were originally scheduled for August,
1995, but cancelled due to Jerry Garcia's death on the 9th of that month.

The Jazz Voice - var. (Knitting Factory Works) This collection includes
"The Music Never Stopped" by Joe Gallant and Illuminati from their "The
Blues For Allah Project" album.

Calling Up The Spirits - Dick Dale (Beggars Banquet 80184, May 21, 1996)
Vince Welnick plays on this album.

Live At Roseland Ballroom - Gov't Mule (Foundation/A&A Records 720907-1301-2,
October 28, 1996, http://www.mule.net) On this live recording from December
31, 1995, near the end of "Trane", the "St. Stephen" theme is hinted at
several times. The first 250 copies of this album were signed by the band
members.

Live At Roseland - Gov't Mule (Foundation/A&A Records 720907-1301-2, 1996,
http://www.mule.net) This was also released as a promo CD.

I Love Everything - Will Hale & The Youth Beat Movement (Tadpole Parade, 1996,
http://www.angelfire.com/mn/willhale) This collection of children's songs
includes "Brokedown Palace".
