The Concert For The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame - var. (Columbia, 1996) Bruce
Hornsby briefly plays "Terrapin Station" on piano before playing "I Know You
Rider" with his band. This is also included on "Furthur More".

Doorway To The Angels - Juggling Suns (Relix RRCD 2079, 1996) This album, by
former Solar Circus guitarist Mark Diomede, includes "Eyes Of The World"
(which also appears on "Dead Delites Volume 3"), "Shakedown Street", "New
Speedway Boogie", "The Other One", and "Love In The Afternoon".

Live Medicine - The Mighty Manatees Medicine Show (Hungadunga Music, 1996,
http://www.mightymanatees.com) This includes a cover of "Franklin's Tower".

Dark Star: The Music Of The Grateful Dead - David Murray Octet (Astor Place
TCD 4002, May 29, 1996, http://www.astorplace.com) This album of various
Grateful Dead songs, recorded after Jerry Garcia's death in 1995, includes
Bob Weir on "Shoulda Had Been Me", from Weir's forthcoming musical project
about Leroy "Satchel" Paige.

Mitakuye Oyasin Oyasin/All My Relations - The Neville Brothers (A&M Records
960515, June, 1996) Includes a version of "Fire On The Mountain".
"Mitakuye Oyasin" is a Lakota phrase which means "We are all related".

Long Live The Dead: A Tribute To The Grateful Dead - Billy and Terry Smith
(K-Tel 3452-2, 1996) An album of country-music and bluegrass versions of a
number of Grateful Dead songs: "Friend Of The Devil" (3:18), "U. S. Blues"
(4:36), "Uncle John's Band" (3:25), "Sugar Magnolia" (2:33), "Touch Of Grey"
(4:49), "Casey Jones" (2:28), "Ripple" (3:32), "Truckin'" (4:01), "Sugaree"
(4:46), and "Alabama Getaway" (2:39).

Breakdown - Old & In The Way (Acoustic Disc ACD-28, 1997) Garcia plays on
this recording of live performances from 1973.

Better Shred Than Dead: The Dick Dale Anthology - Dick Dale (Rhino 72631,
June 10, 1997) Vince Welnick plays on this album.

Marching To Mars - Sammy Hagar (UNI/MCA 11627) Released on May 20, 1997.
Mickey Hart is credited with "percussion" and with "sequencing" on the title
track. Mickey Hart and Mike Clink are credited with producing the title track.

Marching To Mars - Sammy Hagar (MSI 27590) A Japanese release of the album.

Huckleberry Jam - var. (HYP 1967) This benefit raiser for the Huckleberry
House includes a version of "Bertha" played by the Grateful Dead. Released
in 1997. Approximately 20,000 copies of this CD were made available in the
San Francisco area.

Dick's Picks Volume 10 - Grateful Dead (Grateful Dead GDCD 4030) A three CD
release of songs taken from the Winterland Arena (in San Francisco) shows of
December 29, 1977 show (except for "Sunrise" and "It Must Have Been the
Roses") and December 30, 1977 ("Estimated Prophet" > "Eyes Of The World" >
"St. Stephen" > "Sugar Magnolia"). The cover shows the poster-ed SYF flying
carpet ticket. The release date was March 7, 1998, the date of the "Dick's
Picks Release" party.

Dick's Picks Volume 11 - Grateful Dead (Grateful Dead GDCD 4031) Released on
June 9, 1998. A three CD release from the September 27, 1972 show at the
Stanley Theater in Jersey City, New Jersey. The cover shows the Statue of
Liberty emerging from the SYF flying carpet ticket.

Dick's Picks Volume 1 - Grateful Dead (Arista/GDCD 140182) The December 19,
1973 show. Sold in retail stores in 1998.

Dick's Picks Volume 2 - Grateful Dead (Arista/GDCD 140192) The October 31,
1971 show. Sold in retail stores in 1998.

Dick's Picks Volume 3 - Grateful Dead (Arista/GDCD 140212) The May 22, 1977
show. Sold in retail stores in 1998.

and 14, 1970 late shows. Sold in retail stores in 1998.

Dick's Picks Volume 5 - Grateful Dead (Arista/GDCD 140242) The December 26,

Dick's Picks Volume 6 - Grateful Dead (Arista/GDCD 140262) The October 14,

Dick's Picks Sampler - Grateful Dead (Arista/GDCD ) A sampler from the
"Dick's Picks" series, made available as an introductory offer, and often
given away for free with purchases of the "Dick's Picks" series, in stores
when the first six "Dick's Picks" releases were offered for sale in retail
stores.

ONXRT: Live From The Archives, Volume 4 - var. (WXRT 83333) 20,000 copies
were released by Chicago radio station WXRT on Tuesday, November 24, 1998 to
benefit Friends Of The Parks. It includes the Grateful Dead performing
"Sugaree" (9.36) from the April 11, 1987 show at the UIC Pavilion, Chicago.
