Sourdough Sams Doughnuts
1/2 cup sourdough starter 2 egg yolks or 1 whole egg 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 2 tbsps. shortening 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 2 cups flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 cup sour milk or buttermilk
