I have several routers which I use for different purposes. If
you are truly going to use this router ONLY under a table I would
suggest that a plunge model is very inconvenient for this purpose. I
use non-plunge models in tables since they are much easier to adjust.
The plunge mechanism 1) costs you more and 2) gets in the way of the
adjusting. You can, of course, use a plunge router in a table. I do
it all the time at some inconvenience, but I got the plunge model to
use as a hand held tool which is mostly what I use it for.
