I purchased the ELU 3338 variable speed plunge router for about $270. For
about $7 you can get from ELU a mirco adjuster that allows for fine grained
control over the adjustment and is meant to be used under a table. The
article in WOOD about the ELU is slightly incorrect. There
ARE three threaded holes in the plate of the ELU for mounting
under a table. One word of warning. The holes are metric and
take an M6 threaded screw. I have not used my router with a table
yet, so I have nothing to offer there. I have been casually looking
for the metric screws, but I have had no success. If anyone knows
of a source I'd appreciate hearing from you.
