I'll second that. I got a 10" Delta for $180 at a local hardware
store. Works great, even with the cheap blade it came with. One of
the interesting features it came with (that I took advantage of), is
if you mount it on some 2 by rails, then 4 by crosspieces nailed to
the rails are at the same height as the cutting table. So with about
a half hours work I made a holder for the saw that can be set on saw
horses, a table, or even the ground and let me end cut an eight foot
piece without a helper.
