80 Hitachi Compound Miter Saw ?

I'm looking for a portable saw for finish carpentry sorts of work. I've
gotten a couple recomendations for the Hitachi 8 1/2 inch compound
miter saw, and looking at it in one of the local stores, it seems
well built. Does anyone have any experience with the beast, or any
advice on why I might select it over a generic 10 inch power miter saw ?
