If you like to eat out, you are definitely spending a lot of money. In a restaurant you pay at least twice as much for the same meal that you could have prepared at home. And sometimes 5 and more times more expensive.
But you also spend a lot of money on eating out at those lunches at work. And if you go for the cheap meals there are still more expensive than home-made meals, and moreover they aren't really good for you. Fast food is OK occasionally, but everyday? Not the best choice. Instead, prepare a healthy sandwich and salad at home and bring it with you.
This way you aren't only saving your money on meals, you are also saving money on the future doctor visits. So this approach gives you twice as many benefits.
If you are inclined to eat out a lot, at least get the Entertainment Book (http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-2050226-10372319), which provides big discounts for multiple restaurants (up to 50%), besides many other things you can save on. I think it works only for US and Canadian cities.
