There is an actress connection, of sorts, between Star Trek and
porn.
In the original series (running between 1966 and 1969 and starring
Wm. Shatner) there was an episode called 'The Gamesters of
Triskelion'. Kirk, Chekhov, and Uhura are caught on a planet and
forced to perform as gladiators for the pleasure of powerful
aliens, who get their jollies betting on the outcome ("I'll bet 500
quatloos on the challenger!").
The female protagonist/guest-star was a young woman with a good
face and a tight, amazon build. Her name was Angelique Pettyjohn
and she played "Shahna," Kirk's "thrall," in the episode.
In the early 1980's, this same actress appeared in two X-rated
features: 'Body Talk', billed as 'Angelique', and 'Titillation',
billed as 'Angel St. John'. Older, heavier, but definitely
recognizable, Angel/Angelique participated in several hardcore
scenes in each film." (Other readers have pointed out that she may
have been credited as Heaven St. John in these films.)
She also appeared in Mike Jittlov's film, "The Wizard of Speed and
Time," as an Associate Producer of a TV show ("Dr. Magic") with
which the Wizard (Jittlov) was trying to land a job.
Angelique died in February, 1992, in Las Vegas, at age 48, of
cancer.
