Tim Evanson tells me that a gay porn star did appear in an episode
of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. Look closely, and you will see
then-and-currently active gay porn star Brad Phillips appear in a
one-sentence speaking role as an ensign sitting at the Ops chair
(Data's position) in a second-season episode (WHOSE NAME TIM DOES
NOT REMEMBER! DOH!).
Apparently, the ST:TNG producers had no idea of who they'd cast,
but quickly remedied their mistake for future shows.
