MEDIADAPTER ADDRESS CONFIGURATION
ST506/412 - JB2ESDI - JB1 SCSI - JB3 IDE 2/4 - JB2 |
The four jumpers on the respective jumper blocks enable Mediadapter addresses (MD) 0-3 with MD0, the default, being the leftmost jumper as shown above. If more than one Mediadapter is attached to a hyperSTORE controller, each must have a unique address, with one being MD0; the order of the other addresses is insignificant. |
MISCELLANEOUS TECHNICAL NOTES |
JB1 on the ST506/412 Mediadapter is the "encoding method" jumper and has no pins present. It is factory set a folllows: "open" enables MFM, "closed by trace" enables RLL. |
