One From The Vaults - Grateful Dead (Grateful Dead GDCD 4013-2) The August
13, 1975 "Blues For Allah" show at the Great American Music Hall in San
Francisco, released from The Tape Vault. Mastered by Joe Gastwirt of
Oceanview Digital. Available in stores on April 18, 1991. Released April 30,
1991, or possibly even April 15, 1991. The first CD is 53:20 long and the
second is 75:00. Although the set break actually occurred after "King
Solomon's Marbles" and "Around And Around" was the last song performed, on the
CD, "Around And Around" and the break announcement have been placed after
"King Solomon's Marbles" on the first CD. Also, Bill Graham's joke (during
the intro) about winning double-or-nothing from Ron Rakow is not included. A
detailed equipment list is included.

One From The Vaults - Grateful Dead (GDV3 4015, Grateful Dead Records, 48-50
Steele Road, London, UK NW10 7AS) A three record set made in West Germany and
released in England. The sleeve info is the same as on the CD, with the
following additional info: "This LP was made by copying the CD Master tape
onto DAT, and adding the side breaks and then direct metal master for Vinyl."
The inside of the gatefold has several black and white photos from the
performance and the equipment list is not included.

Alive And In The Present - Jerry Garcia Band (Arista 18690) A live album
released on August 27, 1991. The 140:52 minute, double CD release includes:
"The Way You Do The Things You Do", "Waiting For A Miracle", "Simple Twist Of
Fate", "Get Out of My Life, Woman", "Sisters And Brothers", "I Shall Be
Released", "Dear Prudence", "Deal", "Stop That Train", " Senor", "Evangeline"
(the Los Lobos song), "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down", "Don't Let Go",
"Lucky Old Sun", and "Tangled Up In Blue".

Garcia/Grisman - David Grisman and Jerry Garcia (Acoustic Disc ACD-02,
Acoustic Disc, P.O. Box 4143, San Rafael, CA 94913, 800-221-3472,
http://www.dawgnet.com) Live 'Grateful Dawg' music, released July 12, 1991.
This CD includes: "Grateful Dawg", "Two Soldiers", "Friend Of The Devil",
"Russian Lullaby", "Dawg's Waltz", "Walkin' Boss", "Rockin' Chair", "Arabia",
and "The Thrill Is Gone". Some twenty tunes were recorded at these sessions,
of which nine were released.

Garcia/Grisman - David Grisman and Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead GDCD-39032)
CD release by Grateful Dead Merchandising.

Bluegrass Reunion - David Grisman (Acoustic Disc ACD-04) More bluegrass. The
group consists of Red Allen, David Grisman, Herb Pedersen, Jim Buchanan, James
Kerwin, with special guest Jerry Garcia. There are 16 tracks, with a total
running time 47:26. Garcia sings on a Stanley tune "The Fields Have Turned
Brown" and on "Ashes Of Love" by Anglin and Wright.

CSN - Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young (Atlantic 82319-2) Garcia, Lesh, and
Kreutzmann appear on this retrospective collection of songs by the various
members of CSNY. Released in October, 1991.

Infrared Roses - Grateful Dead (Arista/Grateful Dead GDCD 40142) Released on
November 1, 1991. A musical collage of various "Space" and "Drums" segments
put together by Bob Bralove. Portions of "Silver Apples Of The Moon" are from
November 1, 1990. "Apollo At The Ritz" features Branford Marsalis from March
29, 1990. "Post Modern Hi-Rise Table Top Stomp" includes Willie Green from
July 10, 1989. "Riverside Rhapsody" starts with the last few notes of "Uncle
John's Band". "Sparrow Hawk Row" includes Dan Healy on effects.
"Parallelogram" starts off with a double trap set and segues into a "The
Beast" and timbales solo. "Little Nemo In Night Land" consists of Garcia,
Weir, and Lesh, with Lesh's parts coming from about a dozen different shows.
The cover art was designed by Jerry Garcia.

Another Way To Find You - Chris Smither (Flying Fish FF 568) This "live" (in
the studio with an audience) recording made on December 28 and 29, 1989 at
Soundtrack Studios in Boston includes a performance of "Friend Of The Devil"
(3:11). Released in 1991.

Another Way To Find You - Chris Smither (HighTone HCD 8088) This is a 1998
re-release on CD. http://www.hightone.com or http://www.smither.com

Trios - Rob Wasserman (MCA/GRP 4021) Jerry Garcia (piano) and Edie Brickell
(vocals) play on "Zillionaire" and also on "American Popsicle". Bob Weir
plays on "Easy Answers". Bruce Hornsby and Branford Marsalis play on
"White-Wheeled Limousine". The CD was released in April, 1991.

Trios - Rob Wasserman (Grateful Dead GDCD 4137)

Trios - Rob Wasserman (Mobile Sound Fidelity Labs Ultradisc 752, 1999,
http://www.mofo.com) A 24 carat gold plated CD release.

Jazayer plus Ali Jihad Racy - Jazayer (EarthBeat EBD 2549, EarthBeat, Music
For Little People, P.O. Box 1460, Redway, CA 95560, (800) 346-4445) A
selection of Middle Eastern classical and dance music, recorded by Mickey Hart
and Dan Healy at Montgomery Chapel, in San Anselmo, CA. The group includes
Vince Delgado (who was in Diga), and features Ali Jihad Racy. Music For
Little People is a company that sells music and musical instruments for
children.
