Bill Graham Presents - Bill Graham and Robert Greenfield ( ) The book is a
set of interviews with Bill Graham, his family, his friends and musicians,
including Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir. The book covers Graham's life from his
tough beginnings in Europe through life in America, the Mime Troupe, and his
concert promoter years. Published in October, 1992.

Freehand: The Art Of Stanley Mouse - Stanley Mouse (Snow Lion Graphics, San
Francisco, 1992) published in November, 1992. A retrospective of Stanley
Mouse's artwork, a lot of it done directly or indirectly for the Dead.

DeadBase '91 - The Annual Edition Of The Complete Guide To Grateful Dead
Songlists - John W. Scott, Mike Dolguskin, and Stu Nixon (Hanover, NH, 1992)
Contains the Grateful Dead's appearances and songlists for 1991 plus other
important and interesting information.

DeadBase VI - The Complete Guide To Grateful Dead Songlists - John W. Scott,
Mike Dolguskin, and Stu Nixon (Hanover, NH, 1992) Contains the Grateful
Dead's appearances and songlists from 1965 to 1991 plus other important and
interesting information.

Idiot's Delight - Robert Hunter (Hanuman Books, P.O. Box 1070, Old Chelsea
Station, New York, NY 10113, 1992) A poem about desire, metaphorically
described as a dinner, at which the host serves "Idiot's Delight". The book
is roughly 2.5 by 4 inches, 125 pages long, and is modeled after Indian
prayer books. In fact, it is printed in India.

Grateful Dead Comix - Number 7 (Kitchen Sink Press, No. 2 Swamp Rd.,
Princeton, WI 54968) Issue Number 7 includes: "Alligator", "Where's Jerry",
and "Eagle Mall - Part II". Published in March, 1993.

Grateful Dead Comix - Vol. 2, No. 1 (Kitchen Sink Press, No. 2 Swamp Rd.,
Princeton, WI 54968) The eighth release in this series, it includes: "Eagle
Mall - Part III", "Ripple", and "Attics Of My Mind". The change in numbering
was the result of a change in printing size to comic book size and lowering
the price to $3.95. Published in April, 1993.

Princeton, WI 54968) This ninth comic includes: "Eagle Mall - Part IV".

The Bride Of Entropy - Robert Hunter (Viking ) A series of three long poems,
including "An American Adventure". To be published in 1993.

Dead Head Families - Mari Kane ( ) This book is a collection of photographs
of families taken at Grateful Dead concerts between 1987 and 1990. Kane is a
San Francisco photographer and used a mobile studio to take the photos. To be
published.

Jerry's Kids: Portraits Of Deadheads In America - William Lemke ( ) A book
of his extensive portraits of Deadheads. To be published.

Sound System Engineering - Don and Carolyn Davis ( ) This book shows the 1974
"Wall of Sound" system (Alembic is given a credit under the drawing), although
Dan Healy or the Dead are not credited.

Secrets Of The Masters - (Guitar Player Magazine, 1993) This book of some
thirty interviews includes Jerry Garcia, and covers his techniques, equipment,
and playing. Published in February, 1993.

Ain't No Bugs On Me - Jerry Garcia and David Grisman (Harper Collins ISBN
0060281421) A children's book, it includes a cassette of Garcia and Grisman
performing the title song.

Promotion: Design Library (Rockport, ISBN 1564961575) A collection of design
and promotional design, it includes Grateful Dead ticket stubs.

The Grateful Dead and the Deadheads: An Annotated Bibliography - David G. Dodd
and Robert Weiner (Greenwood Press, 1997) This carefully researched and very
extensive bibliography contains over 4,000 entries related to books, articles,
magazines, etcetera about the Grateful Dead and the Deadheads.

Lessons Taken to Heart: Private Banjo and Guitar Studies With Jerry
Garcia - Mary Gibbons (Mary E. Gibbons (gaef@worldnet.att.net), Blue Mountain
Music Processing, 244 S. Lazona #102, Mesa, AZ 85204, 1998) Available from
the author for $15.00 plus S & H. Tablature style song arrangements written
