I have exactly the same problem, on an ancient Sears Crafstman!!!

Mine's excessive. If I make a tenon using a crosscut, it leaves a visible
gap in when I glue into the mortise.
I noticed on mine that the curve oscillates every 3.5" or so .... which
turns out to be the circumference of the bearing pullies that hold
the carriage onto the arm. I suspect that I have one or more bad
pullies. Anyway, the bearing pulley kit for my model saw is $54 from
Sears, which I'll try as soon as I pay off the hospital for postage &
handling of our third child (Dec 5. 1992, 9lbs2oz, etc). :-) :-) :-)
If yours is new, I'd check the bearing pullies to make sure they're not
too tight or too loose (assuming the new models still use bearing pullies).
