26 Radial saw advice, radial saw wanted

I recently was contracted to build several thousand lineal feet of pine
bookshelves. I am going to need to cut a lot of dadoes in the production
of these shelves, and am planning on purchasing a radial arm saw to do
the cutting. I am interested in any opinions concerning quality and
reliablily of various 12-14 inch radial saws. At present I am thinking
that DeWalt or Ryobi is the way to go, but I don't know. I will probably
be making the purchase some time early in 1991. If any rec.woodworking
readers have any advice, or have a saw for sale at a reasonable price
I would appreciate e-mail giving said advice or sale offer. On a further
note : is it possible to get numerical control or blade and arm angle
sensing on r.a. saws in the 12-14 inch size range? What kind of prices
should I be looking for on the used market or at auction?
