I faced that choice about a year ago and finally went with the Grizzly.
It has been great! qq Norm's jointer

From the discriptions the Grizzly was a bit more
solid and that was what sold me (i did see the Delta in person). The
thing is quite a block of iron! It took two people to get it out of
my truck! The fit & finish is good, runs smoth & quiet and it's accurate.
I have not replaced (sharpned) the blades yet so i
don't know how hard that will be.

Can anyone tell me what brand and model jointer our buddy Norm uses on the NYWS?

Also, WOOD mag had an article on jointers last year and liked the portable
RYOBI JP-155 jointer, can anyone share any experiences with this jointer?
If you can't tell I'm concerned with space and the RYOBI would be good
in that respect but after seeing how many favor the Grizley 6" I might have
to make some room.
