- Akiba Shuu List: a mailing list for for the discussion of Touch and other Adachi Mitsuru works. To subscribe, send email to kensiu@interserve.com.hk.
- Alt.manga mailing list: a mailing list for manga fans (basically a mailing list echo of the alt.manga newsgroup). To subscribe, send email to alt-manga-request@darwin.sura.net. The mail should have the following text in the first line: subscribe alt-manga yourlogin@youraddress Firstname Lastname
- Animayhem mailing list: The official Ani-Mayhem Mailing List is now open! The mailing list's address is ani-mayhem@listlink.berkeley.edu. To subscribe to the list, send e-mail to majordomo@listlink.berkeley.edu with "subscribe ani-mayhem" in the body of the message. More info about the Ani-Mayhem mailing list can be obtained by e-mailing majordomo@listlink.berkeley.edu with "info ani-mayhem" in the body of the message. In brief: The list is for discussing anything and everything about Ani-Mayhem, the anime CCG by Pioneer. Certain people working for Pioneer and involved in official rules interpretations will be watching the list, although the list itself is unmoderated and meant to provide a forum for A-M fans across the country.

- Anime Anonymous Fansub Mailing List: This mailing list was created in the wake of one of TAFMAL's flame wars. This is a private ML that has two functions: 1. The first function of this ML to for fansubbers to get together and discuss the projects they are working on and also when they plan to release said projects. 2. The second function is to unite fans and make it easier for them to find people to trade fansubs with. - Anime Clubs Officers mailing list: This is the North American club infor- mation exchange. You need to be a club officer to join. The list often degenerates into obscure discussions on various pieces of video gear or qualities of video tapes, but over 70 groups and 250 officers read the list.
- Anime Cons mailing list: A Mailing List for people who have want to discuss the various anime conventions and make plans for parties, share rooms, or make announcements. - Fan Fiction List: A mailing list devoted to the discussion and posting of stories before they are posted to r.a.a.s. Megumi-san is one of the most popular Seiyuu not only in Japan, but in North America as well. To subscribe to one of these lists, send an email message to: listproc@solaris.cc.vt.edu with the following in the body of the message: subscribe <name of list> <Your real name> For example, if John Smith wished to subscribe to the anime stories echo, he would send the following message to listproc@solaris.cc.vt.edu: subscribe anime-stories John Smith The "Subject" line of the mail message does not matter. You do not have to include an email address in the body of the message. The list will subscribe you to the address you send your message from.
To unsubscribe, send either of the following two commands to listproc@solaris.cc.vt.edu: unsubscribe <name of list> or signoff <name of list>
To receive a list of other mailing list commands, send a message containing the single word "help" to listproc@solaris.cc.vt.edu.
Once you have subscribed to a list, you may post message to it by mailing directly to the individual list. The addresses are as follows: anime-l@solaris.cc.vt.edu anime-info@solaris.cc.vt.edu anime-market@solaris.cc.vt.edu anime-stories@solaris.cc.vt.edu
Example: If John Smith wished to post a story (after subscribing to the anime-stories list), he would send email to: anime-stories@solaris.cc.vt.edu The "Subject" line of his message should be the title of his story, and the body of the message should be the text of his story.

- Robotech Echo mailing list: The Robotech Echo is a non-profit discussion echo which has been endorsed by Harmony Gold Inc., and Academy Comics.
