59 Are any of the episodes available for purchase on tape? (Xena: Warrior Princess)
The Xena Trilogy from Hercules ("Warrior Princess", "The
Gauntlet" and "Unchained Heart") was released to shops early in
1998. Tapes of Season 1, and also Season 2 episodes, were
available from GetXena. Rights have since passed to Davis/Panzer
(http://www.adarastore.com/cgi-bin/xena-herc/) But it should be
mentioned that Davis/Panzer will probably only ship tapes to
US/Canadian addresses. You can also ring Davis/Panzer to get a
catalog by calling 1-800-382-6074 and order other merchandise by
calling 1-800-835-9689.
TV movies of Hercules are also available on tape with Xena stars
in them. They include "Hercules & The Lost Kingdom", in which
Renee O'Connor co-stars. And "Hercules and the Amazon Women", in
which Lucy Lawless plays one of the Amazon women. "Hercules and
the Maze Of the Minotaur" (which features clips of both Lucy and
Renee), has been released in the UK on tape.
There are rumours of Hercules and Xena episodes appearing on DVD,
but none have been appeared as yet. UK readers should have DVD's
of Season 2 episodes from April 2000.
