2.10.1 President

2.10.1 President

2.10.1.1When present, he will be chairman of the E.C.

2.10.1.2He will appoint all USATT Committee Chairmen, except for the
Player's Committee Chairman and all of the members of the Selection
Committee, subject to approval of a majority of the E.C.

2.10.1.3He will recommend for E.C. approval all nominations and
appointments of USATT members to positions with the ITTF, other table
tennis organizations, and the U.S. Olympic Committee.

2.10.1.4He will appoint an auditor or auditing committee.

2.10.1.5He will arrange that all members of the E.C. are notified in
writing of the date and site of E.C. meetings at least 30 days in
advance.

2.10.1.6He will ensure that an agenda is issued at least two weeks
prior to each E.C. meeting.

2.10.1.7He will call special meetings as stated in By-Law2.6.3.

2.10.1.8He may make emergency decisions subject to the approval of a
majority of the E.C. by mail vote or at its earliest convening.

2.10.1.9He will foster and maintain cooperative relations with foreign
associations in the promotion in the sport of table tennis.

2.10.1.10He may dismiss any appointed official at his discretion; the
appointment of a replacement will be subject to E.C. approval at the
next meeting or by mail.

2.10.1.11He will be directly responsible for the performance of the
Disciplinary and International Committee Chairmen.

2.10.1.12He will appoint a Special Awards Chairman.

2.10.1.13If team selections have not been completed as in
By-Law4.1.2.1, hewill arrange for its completion.

2.10.1.14He will assign an officer to sign USATT checks in accordance
with By- Law2.10.4.2.1.

2.10.2 Executive Vice President

2.10.2.1He will automatically become President in the event of a
vacancy in that office.

2.10.2.2He will act as chairman of any E.C. meeting whenever the
President is unable to attend.

2.10.2.3He will assist the President as requested.

2.10.3 Vice Presidents

2.10.3.1They will recommend to the President replacements or
appointments of committee chairmen.

2.10.3.2They will perform such other duties as assigned by the
President.
