9.3) AXSH

AXsh is a multiuser shell with built-in protections. It can be used with UUCP. Users may then send/receive mail & news. Current version (March 6, 1996) is AXsh 1.32 and was released a couple of weeks ago. This time it is no 'demo' version, but the whole AXsh system, including sources. Also, shareware-registrations are now optional. Development is freezed for now. Recommended to use with UUCP mail/news systems.

It is available from aminet: util/shell/ and from nic.funet.fi in /pub/amiga/shells/AXsh/.

Version v1.32 is available and you don't need to register anymore. You can get from Aminet util/shell or from ftp.funet.fi. package name is AXsh1_32.lha. The new maintainer is tleino@dystopia.fi.
