3.7.9 Tantra: Lifestyle
Some schools of tantra yoga and Western sex-mysticism
encourage sexual promiscuity, while others insist on
sexual monogamy or even (hard though this may be to
comprehend) celibacy. The question of whether one
should live as a "householder" in society or remove
oneself to a monastery (ashram), or take up the path
of a wandering renunciate (sadhu) is also endlessly
debatable within the many schools of tantrism.
