Fruitcakes - Jimmy Buffet (Margaritaville/MCA MCAD 11043) This May 24, 1994
release includes a 'parrothead' version of "Uncle John's Band" (4:30).
Warriors - KFOG Jam - var. (Warrior WARR 1045-2) This compilation CD was
released, in April, 1994, by San Francisco radio station KFOG
(http://www.kfog.com) and the Golden State Warriors basketball team to benefit
the Bay Area Public School Music Program. It includes the Grateful Dead
performing "Bird Song" (from March 29, 1990, with Branford Marsalis) and
Cracker performing a live version of "Loser". This version of "Bird Song"
later appeared on "So Many Roads".
Greatest Hits (Vol. 3) - Bob Dylan (Sony/Columbia 66783, November 15, 1994)
Includes Robert Hunter's "Silvio", on which Garcia, Weir, and Mydland sing
backup vocals.
Bay Rock Shop No. 5 - Relix Magazine's 20th Anniversary - var. (Relix
RBRS0005) Includes performances by the NRPS and Tom Constanten.
Dick's Picks Volume 1 - Grateful Dead (Grateful Dead GDCD 4018) Released in
December, 1993. A two CD release from the December 19, 1973 show at the
Curtis Hixon Convention Center in Tampa, Florida. Some songs have been edited
for content and the allocated time. Phil Lesh's bass solo was edited out at
his insistence. The cover is a take-off of the Ampex brand 7 inch reel to
reel tape box.

Steele Road, London, NW10 7AS) These are the UK and European released CDs.
Cool In The Furnace - Throbbing Ember (Sourpuss Records) This 1994 release

Dick's Picks Volume 2 - Grateful Dead (Grateful Dead GDCD 4019) Released in
March, 1995. A single CD release from the Halloween, 1971 show at the Ohio

June 23, 1993.
Code Of The West - Joe Gallant and Illuminati (Scratchy Records) This 1994
CD includes "Unbroken Chain".
That High Lonesome Sound - Old And In The Way (Acoustic Disc ACD-19) Garcia
plays on these live recordings from the Boarding House in San Francisco in
October, 1973.
Live In Japan - NRPS (Relix RRCD 2065, August, 1993) Includes "Ripple"
(which is also on "Dead Delites Volume 1" and "Relix's Best of the New NRPS"),
"Dire Wolf", and "Friend Of The Devil" (both of which are also on "Dead
Delites Volume 2").
Relix Magazine's 20th Anniversary Concert - var. (Relix RRCD 2066) Includes
"Dire Wolf" by the Dead Ringers and a medley of "Hand Jive > The Eleven >
Around And Around".
Music Of Indonesia: Music For The Gods - var. (Rykodisc 10315, 1994) This
51:54 long restored collection of gamelan music was produced by Mickey Hart
and Al Jabbour. Part of the Library of Congress "Endangered Music Project"
series.
Acoustic Edge: Great Acoustic Music of The 90's - var. (Rhino 71969) Includes
"Grateful Dawg" with David Grisman and Jerry Garcia.
Hot House - Bruce Hornsby (RCA 66584) Jerry Garcia plays on this July 18,
1995 release.
Smoke - var. (Hollywood 2024) Garcia plays on "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" on
the soundtrack to this movie. Released in 1995.
Blue Incantation - Sanjay Mishra (Raindog Records 98) Garcia plays on three
tracks on this 1995 release.

Original versions of 17 songs that the Grateful Dead played often and became

Hundred Year Hall - Grateful Dead (Arista 14020) The April 26, 1972 show.
Released on two CDs on September 26, 1995. The cover features a stained glass
window showing the band members. Another in "from The Vault" series.
Dick's Picks Volume 3 - Grateful Dead (Grateful Dead GDCD 4021) Released on
November 7, 1995. A three CD release from the May 22, 1977 show at the
Sportatorium in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The cover is a take-off of the Ampex
brand 7 inch reel to reel tape box.
