For Dead Heads - var. (Round/UA SP 114) A sampler album with two cuts each by
the Dead, Garcia, Hunter, the Godchaux's, and Old And In The Way.
For Dead Heads - var. (Round/UA FREE 2) A 1976 UK-released sampler album with
a red jester on a white cover. It contains songs from albums by the Grateful
Dead, Kingfish, Diga, Jerry Garcia, Keith and Donna, and Old And In The Way.
Livin' In The Past - Kentucky Colonels (Briar BT 7202) Jerry Garcia introduces
the band at the October 15, 1964 show in Palo Alto.
Sweet Surprise - Eric Andersen (Arista 4075) Brent Mydland sings on "Crazy
River" and "Dreams Of Mexico" on this 1975 release. This is prior to
Mydland joining the Grateful Dead.
Silver - Silver (Arista 4076) A pre-Grateful Dead Brent Mydland plays on this
1975 release. Brent Mydland was in this band before he joined the Grateful
Dead. Two of Mydland's songs appear on this album: "Musician (Not An Easy
Life)" and "Climbing".
Barry Scott Presents: The Lost 45s Of The '70s And '80s, Vol. 2 - var.
(Varese 066112) This compilation, released on May 9, 2000, includes
"Wham Bam Shang-A-Lang" (3:33) performed by Silver, which included Brent
Mydland before he joined the Grateful Dead.
Red Octopus - Jefferson Starship (Grunt/RCA BFL1-0999) Robert Hunter, David
Freiberg, and Marty Balin co-wrote "Tumblin'" (3:27). Released in June, 1975.
Solid Silver - Quicksilver Messenger Service (Capitol SM 11820 or ST 11462)
Hunter wrote "I Heard You Singing" (3:48) on this October, 1975 release.
David Frieberg rearranged the tune (singing the last verse first, etc.) and
got a co-writing credit.
Solid Silver - Quicksilver Messenger Service (Edsel ) This British CD release
contains Robert Hunter's "I Heard You Singing". Demon Records, Blackmail,
Freepost (TK 974), P.O. Box 9, Brentford, Middlesex TW8 8BR England.
The Best Of New Riders Of The Purple Sage - NRPS (Columbia PC 34367) A "best
of" record released in 1976 with the filled NRPS tee-shirt on the front cover.
Barry Melton: The Fish - Barry Melton (United Artists UAS 29908) Hunter
co-wrote "Jesse James" and Mickey Hart co-wrote "Speed Racer" on this
January, 1976 release.
Reflections - Jerry Garcia (Round/UA RX 107 RX-LA565-G) Released in January,
1976. "Might As Well" recalls one of the NRPS/GD tours. Also included is
"Comes A Time".

Reflections - Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead GDCD 4008) On some versions of the
back cover of the CD version, the back cover artwork includes Eileen Law's
name hand written in the upper left corner - as if they lifted the artwork
off her personal copy when producing the CD. The back cover image also has
the Round Records and UA logos, which is not the label that the CD is out on.
Reflections - Jerry Garcia (GD Records GDLP 4.006515) Released in West
Germany in the Fall of 1989.
Reflections - Jerry Garcia (GDV 4008, Grateful Dead Records, 48-50 Steele
Road, London, NW10 7AS) This is a UK released record, released in 1990.
Kingfish - Kingfish (Round/UA RX 108 RX-LA564-G) Bob Weir appears and is
credited with playing guitar and harp. Released on March 3, 1976. The cover
features Neptune riding a winged fish over the waves. It includes Willie
Dixon's "Hidden Charms". Also released as: GDR GDCD-4010 2 and GDC-4010 4,
Relix RRCD 2005 and RRLP 2005, and Castle CCR108.
Kingfish - Kingfish (Relix RRLP 2005) with Bob Weir. Released by Relix on
January 14, 1985. The liner notes are not quite correct.
Kingfish - Kingfish (Relix RRCD 2005) released on CD.
Pistol Packin' Mama - The Good Old Boys (Round/UA RX-LA597-G/RX 109) Jerry
Garcia produced and mixed this bluegrass album.
