The British film "Withnail and I" is among her favorites; in a recent
(October '95) interview, Richard E. Grant says that he appears in both
"Bram Stoker's Dracula" and "The Age of Innocence" largely because
Winona loved his portrayal of Withnail. In an earlier interview
(November '89), she lists her favorites as follows: "A Face in the
Crowd"; "To Kill a Mockingbird"; "Opening Night", "Tempest" (1982);
"Picnic at Hanging Rock"; "Gallipolli"; "Don't Look Now"; "Walkabout";
"West Side Story"; "Something Wild" (1961); "The Stripper". Another
article mentions "Brazil" and "My Life as a Dog" as favorites. The
British series "Prime Suspect" is also a favorite of her's.
