The Fair Credit Billing Act protects you from honest errors and
outright fraud by merchants when you make the purchase through a
bank credit card. These include
- billing errors
- charges for goods ordered but never shipped
- charges higher than agreed
- charges for goods not shipped as ordered
- charges for products that don't work as represented
- charges for unsatisfactory services
and similar kinds of problems.
