03 Why do you spell "vampyre" with a 'y'?
"Vampyre" is an older spelling of the word "vampire" and was used
predominantly during the 1700s and 1800s [see 2.02]. Its use in the
group's title is to provide a more gothic feel. There is no difference
between a "vampire" and a "vampyre."
