35 Help! I just finished Tale of the Body Thief and I'm dying to read the next VampChron book! Please, please, please tell me there will be one! (Anne Rice FAQ)

Take heart, dear fan, there will. As I said before, Anne
loves Lestat and, as long as she can write, there will
always be a new VampChron book on the horizon. In this
case, it's called Memnoch the Devil and is scheduled to be
released in September 1995. Anne is now saying in
interviews and the like that she feels that this is the
last book in the series. However, she's signed up for
more VampChron books and this is what she has said after
QotD, TotBT and even Lasher and a new book has always come
out so don't panic yet.
