There are three schools of thought on this:
Less-tat (rhymes with 'hat')
Luh-stat (also rhymes with 'hat')
Luh-staht (ah sounding like the 'o' in 'dot' or 'hot')
Anne uses the third form, but don't feel that that's what
you have to use. There is no "Official" way of saying
Lestat's name. Just say whatever feels more comfortable to
you. As long as you don't try to fake an accent that you
haven't a prayer of getting you'll be fine.
