I am in the market for a belt sander. I've narrowed the field down
with the following criteria:
Discounted price range - $100-$200, 3x21 belt size, sands flush,
variable speed, dust bag.
With that in mind, the following sanders fit the bill (or come close
to it). Would someone who has been through this recently or who
owns one of these models please comment on them back to me directly.
The one that has has my eye so far is the Ryobi BE-321. I would
really appreciate comments on their sanders.
I got these models from a comparison article in the Aug'89 issue of
WOOD MAGAZINE. The prices are from various tool catalogs that I have
(some of which are quite dated now).
If I get enough responses I'll edit them and post them back to the net.
Thanks in advance -
