are a couple of thoughts: For me, there has never been a problem with the
dust/fire situation, even though there is alot of dust floating around
and on the floor I've never experienced anything close to a fire. As long
as it's used in a prudent manner this is a non-issue. I have a two car
garage converted to a work shop and this heater is more than adequate
to warm the place up. When I first got it (in the dead of winter) I heated
that garage up until I could walk around in a T-shirt (I was a very happy
woodchuck). But then reality set in and I realized that I had to feed the
thing so I keep it at about 55 degrees(?) and wear a coat. I really wish it
had a thermostat, which I believe can be purchased or you end up plugging
and unplugging the cord quite a bit. My final thought is in regard to
kerosene. For some reason I ALWAYS manage to spill when I fuel up. If you
get it on the shop floor it takes forever for it to evaporate out of the
concrete and this stuff really stinks. If you get it on your skin don't plan
on anything romantic with the wife, it really turns em' off, pretty rude huh?
