I would like recommendations on a 15" or 16" tabletop scroll saw.
I do have a budget limit of $150 to $175. This is for home use as
opposed to professional, use-it-every-day work. I will be using it
on hobby-type projects, mostly soft woods, but occasionally hardwood.
I have heard that the Dremel hobbyist saw (around $89 everwhere)
is too light duty for anything other than light-duty hobby projects.
Is this true? I saw the heavy-duty Dremel at $179 and it looked
quite nice, but if I can find a comparable quality one for less,
I'll go for it.
Your recommendations (and suggestions on brands/models to avoid)
are most appreciated.
