08 Belt Sanders

Does anyone have opinions on belt sanders? I'm looking for, I guess,
a medium-duty sander for home projects. I want one that'll last. The
only ones I know about are Makita, Craftsman, Black & Decker (don't
think I'll buy B&D). I'm hoping to spend $50 -$60.
