Hello folks,
I am about to buy a new table saw. I am closing escrow on my next house this
week and I will again have a place to put a saw. I was about to buy the Delta 10"
contractors saw when I saw the Ryobi BT 3000.
The Delta 10" contractors saw:
Well built, nice construction. I have a Rockwell 14" band saw
and love it - hence some brand loyalty is at work here.
The Ryobi BT3000:
Very interesting set of features. I like the sliding table approach for
the miter cuts and the dual purpose table/router mount is also
attractive. What I don't like is the light construction and all the
plastic pieces used within the fence clamps etc.
I can get either saw for about the same price. I am interested in any sage
advice that may be out there about these two saws. Good experiences? Bad
experiences?
