Thanks to all of you who responded to my request for Ryobi planer info.
The score is 8 to 1 in favor of the Ryobi. The consensus seems to be that the
unit is reliable, capable, and afordable; a winning combination. The one
response not supporting the unit was from a non-owner, based on examining a
unit in the store. All the favorables were from owner-users. I hope this
helps others as it helped me.
