One word of warning. As I was investigating which planer to buy, I
talked to a seller of tools and he recommended that I NOT buy the
Delta, he kept getting them back for repair. I called an authorized
Delta repair center and they said that, yes, the Delta was prone to
breaking down because all the gears which drive the knives and feed
rollers are exposed, and they get crudded up with chips and bind.
They recommended that I buy some other brand because of this design
flaw.
