I bought the Delta planer from Woodworker's Supply of New Mexico for about
$375, I think. I have been happy with it, but have no experience with any
of the other planers. I have bought 2 or 3 major tools (bandsaw, drill press)
from Woodworker's Supply and have been very happy with them. I have had
absolutely no problems with them. Their prices are good, the ship quickly,
and they do not charge freight on shipments requiring a freight truck. They
do charge shipping for UPS type deliveries.
