I have the Freud joiner. It seems pretty good, no problems
to date. A simple solid design and a good price. I expect
that most of the competing products are as good but I
would probably get another one.

I purchased the PC biscuit joiner and LOVE it. I've not experienced the
slop problems Joel mentioned in a previous posting. I use mine for
everything from bang-it-together-quick carpentry to furniture construction.
My father-in-law has the same machine and echoes my sentiments.
Joel, if your joiner is that inaccurate, take the thing back and
exchange for another or get your money back. Don't try a home
improvement. If it dosent work you certainly won't have any
recourse back to the manufacturer.
