The plans and article appeared in the October 1986 issue of Workbench. I was
intrigued by it because I like recycling stuff or converting it to another
use to avoid seeing it thrown in a landfill. (No, my place is NOT piled high
with junk! ;-) ) This approach seems viable only if you have access to a
surplus motor and fan, the two major items. A furnace shop might have a used
one available if you can't round one up elsewhere. Probably kind of hard to
come by here in San Diego! Good luck.
