I am in the process of installing a Grizzley dust collector and
have successfully tested the machine with a plastic bag inside
the canvas chip collector bag (the bottom bag). All the air (and
to my surprise some dust) is exhausted through the top bag. If
you have'nt noticed, many other manufacturers' (e.g. Delta) have
a rigid container for chip and sawdust collection and a separate
bag for exhausting air.
