38 Drugs and Pregnancy: Prescription Drugs To Avoid During Pregnancy


These drugs have been linked to birth defects and should not be taken
by pregnant women:

Accutane (an anti-acne drug)

Lithium (an anti-depressant)

Tegison (used to treat psoriasis)

Coumadin (an anti-coagulant)

Chloramphenicol, Nitrofurantoin & Tetracycline
(antibiotics)
