Yami Garishi $B0G!{$j;N(B - published by Tokuma Shoten, 1985, Y360.
His debut, influenced by the Yumemakura Baku $@L4Km`S(B novel, was quite
popular among Shonen Captain readers, and led to Majinden, his original
manga.
Majinden $BKb?MEA(B - serialized on Shonen Captain, 1985-8, 4 volumes @ Y370.
In the OAV Shin-Majinden [Battle Royal Highschool], Riki Hyodo (school
karate champion) and Toshimitsu Yuki (lone swordsman) are possessed by a
sorcerer and a sprite queen from another dimension. They battle for
control of both worlds, as Zankan (a special agent from an orbiting space
station) attempts to stop them. The OAV covers vol.1 of the manga, and is
fairly different. The manga eventually progresses to a `virtual reality'
battle.
Demons Attack Company $BKb=C7k!{(B - currently serialized on Shonen Captain
1992-present, 6 volumes @ Y390.
Occult cyberpunk. This title was started after he changed his name to Aki
Kyoma.
FOUNDATION - published by Hobby Japan, 1994, Y980.
A compilation of four short stories with martial arts themes: a werewolf
cop, a cyber-cop who uses `dead force' to battle demons, a cop who uses
mantis style kung-fu and a Garo Densetsu story.
