Hiramatsu is one of the first generation of true action/violence manga artists,
along with other veterans like Wada Shinji, Shibata Masahiro, Ikegami Ryoichi,
and Kurumada Masami $@!{ED@5H~(B, creator of Saint Seiya $@@;F.;N@1Lp(B,
(published by Shuueisha, 1987-91, 28 volumes @ Y390), who all debuted in the
early 1970s.

------------------------

Black Angels $@%V%i%C%/%(%s%8%'%k%:(B - published by Shonen Jump 1980-4, 12
volumes @ Y600.
Even by today's standards, this is a startlingly dark, bleak, violent
manga about a justice-seeking hitman and his associates. It has more than
enough action, sinister bad guys and occultish themes to satisfy any
action manga fan.

Murder License Kiba $B%^!<%@!<%i%$%;%s%92g(B - currently serialized on Super
Jump, 1989-present, 22 volumes @ Y390.
A team of righteous ninja assassins in today's world. Has all the usual
ingredients, but it's hollow compared to his earlier work.

Ricky Typhoon $@%j%C%-!=BfIw(B - published by Shuueisha, 1991-2, 5 volumes @
Y600.

Doberman Detective $@%I!<%Y%k%^%s7:;v(B - published by Shuueisha, 1986-88, 19
volumes @ Y580.

Monster Hunter $@%b%s%9%?!<%O%s%?!>?-FsC;JT=8(B - published by Shuueisha,
1989, Y370.
