Although you can obtain a reasonable selection of videos in NTSC in Hong Kong, the offical broadcasting standard is PAL. To my knowledge all TV Stations in Hong Kong transmits in PAL. NTSC equipment and software is available there probably because of their close proximity to Japan, and their fascination with new technology (and Karaoke)
