There are, of course, many abbreviations used in AHR which are common to Usenet and the Internet and I don't propose to detail these here unless there is call for them. The most common AHR specific acronyms are "ROTW" and "OTW" which stand for "(Reiki) On The Way" and tend to follow a request for Reiki.
R1 = Reiki I (using Roman numerals) = Reiki level one R2 = Reiki II R3 = Reiki III RM = Reiki Master, which is synonymous with R3 in most instances. RMT = Reiki Master Teacher, which in many schools is synonymous with RM and R3.
CKR, DKM, HSZSN, SHK are all acronyms for various Reiki symbols.
SKHM (pronounced like "SEK-hem") is not so much an abbreviation as a name for another system of healing often found in association with Reiki. It is a divergent school of what was once and still is called Seichim.
