4.12. Why is the camera always shaking? (NYPD Blue)

A lot of the show is shot with handheld cameras in an attempt
to simulate a detective's point of view and to give episodes
a cinema verite feel. Some people love it and some hate it,
but it's an aspect that's not liable to change.
