01 Who on earth is Ben Elton ?

Ben Elton is possibly one of the most successful comedic writers and
stand-up comedians, with at least three highly successful TV series to his
credit, as well as five novels, four plays - and between all this, he finds
time to tour the UK once in a while. With his latest novel having been sold
to Hollywood, he may well become one of the first "alternative" comedians
of the 1980s to make it to Hollywood.
