This article is from the Turkish FAQ, by Mustafa Soysal sctfaq@express.net with numerous contributions by others.
Beer:
- Efes Pilsen, most people say that this is the best.
- Tuborg (originally Danish)
- Tekel, pure Turkish but may not be found in Tourist resorts.
Soft Drinks:
Ayran, sIra, kIzIlcIk, seftali - totally different than anything
available in UK.
Wine:
much better than beer, including KavaklIdere, Villa Doluca.
Both red and white are good.
