Duty Free allowance
Customs are generally more formal than in neighbouring Australia.
Total value of Duty Free goods can't exceed NZ$700
Duty Free quantities:
Alcohol;
3 x 1.125l bottles of spirits
- must declare 2 bottles
4.5l of beer and/or wine
- equivalent to 6 x 750ml bottles of wine or 1 doz cans of beer
Cigarettes;
1 carton
