10. What is the National Occupational Classification (NOC) and where can I find the NOC descriptions? (Canada immigration)

The National Occupational Classification is a systematic classification of
Canadian
occupations, based on extensive occupational research, analysis and
consultation
conducted throughout Canada. and it has replaced the outdated
Classification and
Dictionary of Occupations in immigration matters effective from May 1, 1997.
