6.3. What is blocking?

Blocking is basically riding in the wrong part of the bike
course. Most commonly the right side of the bike course is for riding
while the left side is for passing. Riders who camp out or overextend
their stay in the passing lane are blocking. Blocking is a violation
in most triathlons.
